Montessori Parent Organization (MPO)
The Montessori Parents Organization, or “MPO” serves to bring families together to enhance the sense of community through organized activities and foster communication among the parents, faculty, and staff of Carolyn Barron Montessori School. These activities take the form of cultural, educational, social, and fundraising events that a leadership team, in conjunction with the whole parent body, initiates, organizes and coordinates. The MPO also sponsors special programs and projects that promote the school’s mission.
All parents and guardians of students attending CBMS as well as staff and faculty are automatic members. There are no dues paid for membership; the gift of your time and talent is greatly appreciated.
The activity of the MPO is guided by an MPO Executive Board, comprised of four officers and up to three members-at-large. While the MPO Executive Board develops the strategic direction, the participation of the entire parent body makes each event a success.
